Chyno & Nacho Return With ‘Radio Venezuela’: ‘We Wouldn’t Change Even the Hardest Moments’

Chyno & Nacho Return With ‘Radio Venezuela’: ‘We Wouldn’t Change Even the Hardest Moments’

Chyno & Nacho are not just a duo; they represent a true musical legacy that transcended borders, paved the way for new generations, and elevated Venezuela’s name. That’s why the release of their first album in four years at midnight on Wednesday (April 8) is especially exciting.

And Radio Venezuela — the title of the production — doesn’t just arrive with songs by Chyno & Nacho. This album, released by ADA/Warner Music, features a wave of Venezuelan musicians, including Danny Ocean, Rawayana, Elena Rose, Mau y Ricky, Joaquina, Lasso, Akapellah and more. In all, the set boasts 14 collaborations, including interludes featuring the voices of Luis Chataing and the late Renny Ottolina, iconic figures in Venezuelan media.

The album also marks the highly anticipated return of the duo since Chyno & Nacho Is Back in 2021, the album that sealed their reunion after years apart marked by health challenges faced by Chyno Miranda. After conquering stages with their Eternos Tour in 2024, the creators of No. 1 hits like “Niña Bonita” and “Bebe Bonita” now return filled with gratitude and in better company than ever.

“I did many things that were very meaningful to me as a solo artist: ‘Báilame’ with Bad Bunny and Yandel, ‘Casualidad’ with Ozuna, ‘Déjalo’ with Manuel Turizo, and ‘Destino’ with Greeicy. I would join any rhythm because, honestly, I felt that my original essence was as part of the duo Chyno & Nacho,” Nacho confesses to Billboard. “Despite the fact that things kept happening for me, I got used to being with my partner, and I was never able to get used to being without him.”

As if that weren’t enough, the LP reunites them with their former manager, Pablo Villalobos. “For me, it’s very special to walk alongside Chyno & Nacho again. We grew together from day one, lived dreams that seemed impossible, and achieved wonderful things around the world,” Villalobos said in a statement to Billboard. “I feel this reunion is like a new beginning, filled with hope, gratitude and a strong desire to keep making history together.”

Filled with nostalgia, love, and fulfilled dreams, Radio Venezuela is a beautiful miracle and a testament to the value of friendship — not just within the project, but also in how it tells the story of two partners who have experienced countless years of professional success while overcoming life’s challenges. Now, they celebrate it in their best language: music. Nacho Mendoza and his nephew, Ignacio “Happy” Mendoza, built it as meaningful things are built: slowly, intentionally and from the heart.

“People have seen our journey—they’ve seen us fall and get back up, they’ve seen us succeed, they’ve seen us create projects that have been very successful, they’ve seen us smiling and celebrating, and also going through moments of frustration, times when health hasn’t been on our side,” says Nacho. “And look, for me, the journey with my partner has been incredible, because from seeing him lying in a bed, unable to speak or walk, to seeing him on a stage, fighting, to being part of this moment in a project where he is walking on his own, dancing on his own, and performing on his own — I think it’s an enormous lesson not just for us, but for anyone going through challenges and processes in their life.”

He adds: “My partner’s recovery is something miraculous and has a lot to do with love, the support he’s been given and the spiritual strength he’s shown. And well, it’s been a beautiful process. Today, we look back, and I think we wouldn’t change even the hardest moments.”

Radio Venezuela is not just an album, it’s a frequency. What began as an idea took shape organically. Nacho started connecting with colleagues — Danny Ocean, Rawayana, Lasso, Neutro Shorty, Mau y Ricky, Elena Rose — and, at some point, he realized something: they were all Venezuelan.
