“Chiquis is an undeniable force — not just in music, but as a cultural icon,” he said in a press statement. “Her artistry, vision, and connection to fans are unmatched, and I’m honored to welcome her as the first woman to join our roster. Together, we’re going to elevate her already extraordinary career to new heights.”

The Mexican-American artist (born Janney Marín Rivera) earned her first top 10 Billboard hit on the Latin Digital Sales chart in 2014 with her debut single, “Paloma Blanca,” a tribute to her late mother Jenni Rivera. Over the course of her 11-year career, she has earned 11 entries on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart, with her highest-charting single, “Mi Problema” climbing to No. 7 in December 2021. She also dominated the Top Regional Mexican Albums chart, securing two No. 1 albums: Ahora in 2015 and Entre Botellas in 2018.

Chiquis — who was a 2024 Billboard Latin Women in Music honoree — has also won the Latin Grammy award for best banda album three times with Playlist (2020), Abeja Reina (2022), and Diamantes (2024).

Under the new signing, the artist embarks on a new career chapter “with major projects and collaborations set to be announced in the coming months,” according to the statement.
