Check out the Rod Stewart-designed boom box-shaped leopard print toilet at Glastonbury 2025

Rod Stewart has co-designed a giant, leopard-print toilet in the shape of a boom box for Glastonbury 2025.

The singer is due to take the stage for the coveted tea-time legends slot on Sunday – right next to his newly designed toilet.

The toilet, which has ben co-created with Water Aid, will play select Stewart hits like ‘Sailing’ and ‘Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?’. It will also feature specially recorded water-themes messages from Stewart himself.

Speaking about the collaboration, Stewart said: “I’ve spent my life singing to packed arenas and festival crowds, but nothing hits a high note quite like clean water and a decent loo. They might not be sexy, but they’re life-changing.

“That’s why I’ve teamed up with WaterAid to bring our funky Boombox Bog to Glastonbury Festival and shine a light on the importance of these everyday essentials that millions still live without,” he added. “Together, we’re creating change that’s gonna last forever.”

Festival organisers Michael and Emily Eavis opened the gates to the festival this morning (June 25), and the 2025 edition is set to run up until Sunday night (June 29). It will be the last instalment before a fallow year in 2026.

Stewart will return to play his first set at Glastonbury since his headline slot in 2022. He reportedly “begged” for a longer set at this year’s festival, saying: “It’s difficult because they only gave me an hour-and-a-quarter slot. So I begged them: can I do another 15 minutes? Because usually I play for two hours”.

In addition to confirming his Faces reunion with Ronnie Wood at Glastonbury, Stewart also teased that two more names would join him for his Legends set.

“There’s a lot of songs that people love that I won’t be able to play – and I’ve got three guests coming on,” hinted Stewart.
