Cash Cobain and Bay Swag Team Up With Rob49 for New Single ‘Trippin on a Yacht’

The record marks the first release from Cash Cobain as a lead artist since the arrival of his album Play Cash Cobain in August 2024

Super Bowl festivities are moving to Philadelphia this week following the Eagles’ win this past weekend, but Cash Cobain is still feeling the spirit of New Orleans. The rapper and producer has shared his latest single “Trippin on a Yacht” with frequent collaborator Bay Swag and the New Orleans-born rapper Rob49.

“I think I gotta take another shot/I think I fell in love with a thot/The Don Julio got me hot,” Cash Cobain says on the chorus. “I ain’t with the fussin’ and whatnot/Tryna have you cussin’ and whatnot/I’m trippin’, I’m trippin’ on a yacht.” When Rob49 hops in later on, he raps, “If you’re pretty and seductive, you a bad bitch/Yeah, I’m trippin’, I’m trippin’ on a yacht/It’s shot o’ clock, I don’t need a watch.”

Cash Cobain and Bay Swag previously collaborated on the viral single “Fisherrr,” which featured Ice Spice on a remix that paid homage to New York. He also appeared alongside Bay Swag on “6AM Thoughts” with Nav and “5 Star” with Chow Lee.

“Trippin on a Yacht” marks the first release from Cash Cobain as a lead artist since the arrival of his album Play Cash Cobain in August 2024. “The reason I wanted to sign is because I wanted to go to that next level,” the artist told Rolling Stone last year about signing with Giant Music, who released the album. “We went really far by ourselves, and we wanted to find someone to elevate our brand and take us to new heights.”

He added, “I wanna be so much more than an artist. I just executive-produced two albums. That’s where I wanna be, behind the scenes. I’m gonna take this little run I got, and then I’m going to disappear.”
