Cardi B Urges Fans to ‘Calm Down’ Over Stefon Diggs Romance as Rapper Prepares for Tour

The Grammy winner pushed back against fans “dragging” her on social media and called for their support as her first headlining run approaches

Cardi B has a massive year ahead of her with the Grammy winner’s first headlining arena run — dubbed the Little Miss Drama Tour — scheduled to launch in February. On Monday, the rapper hopped on social media to quell criticism over her relationship with boyfriend and NFL star Stefon Diggs and to remind fans that she needs their support as she enters this new era of her career.

“Y’all need to calm down. Is y’all cool? Y’all been dragging me for three or four days. Y’all become and y’all been a little bit too mean,” she said in a video posted to X. “I can’t change it. I can’t go back in time. I already had a baby,” Cardi continued. “Y’all want me to put my baby back in my pussy? I don’t know what y’all want me to do. Y’all want me to leave my man and fuck yours?” She said, “We can only go forward now.”

The rapper and wide receiver for the New England Patriots welcomed their first child together, a boy, in November. Cardi also shares three children with Offset — the couple married in 2017, and she filed for divorce from the artist in 2024.

“2026 is in a couple of days. I have so much work to do once January starts that it’s stressing me out,” Cardi added in her video. “I’m gonna be away from my baby, away from my personal life, away from my home. I have to rehearse for 10 to 12 hours a day for tour. … I’m already super stressed out. I need my support system, my fans, to love me. I want you to come to my tour and enjoy yourself with me. Don’t be dragging me. It’s enough.”

Cardi’s upcoming trek takes its name from her forthcoming sophomore album Am I the Drama?, which arrived in September. The record dropped more than seven years after her groundbreaking 2018 debut, Invasion of Privacy, which won a Grammy for Best Rap Album and was listed among Rolling Stone‘s 200 Greatest Hip-Hop Albums of All Time.
