The Scottish musician and DJ was playing the Boucher Road Playing Fields in Belfast on Saturday night (August 22), and in a now viral clip shared by Instagram user @bodyfitmums, a pizza can be seen flying through the air in slow motion before hitting her as she recorded the gig.

“Nothing like getting pizza pied at Calvin,” text over the video read. “I kid you not,” she captioned the post. “Covered from the chest down… imagine it landed on my face. Still carried on dancing away mind you covered😂 #dedicatedtothedj.

“Thanks to those that tried to help in cleaning me up.. strangers n all! What a night!”

Earlier this month, Harris brought out Kasabian’s Serge Pizzorno for his two huge homecoming shows at Hampden Park to break out their collab ‘Release The Pressure’.

When it dropped back in February, Pizzorno spoke to NME about how the collaboration came together, and said: “Calvin and I have been in each other’s orbit for about 20 years. I first saw him perform at Lollapalooza in South America and was absolutely blown away. We recently reconnected, exchanged numbers and decided it was finally time to collaborate in the studio.”

He continued: “We sent it to Calvin and two weeks later I received a message: ‘Banger incoming. Hotel vibes’… I played it and it blew my mind.”

The huge hometown concerts that Pizzorno joined Harris on saw the DJ play to a combined total 100,000 fans across two huge back-to-back shows in Glasgow on August 1-2.

To mark those milestone homecoming gigs, Harris had launched a limited-edition run of “rave haggis” ahead of the shows kicking off.

“Absolutely buzzing to announce my own HAGGIS to celebrate my two Scotland shows this weekend!”, the Scottish DJ shared on Instagram last month, also sharing that fans could buy the haggis at the live shows, as well as on his website.
