Calibre 50 Celebrates Historic 28th No. 1 Hit

For the first time ever, Billboard brought its signature Pop-Up Moment beyond U.S. borders—landing in the vibrant, sun-soaked city of Mazatlán, along the Pacific coast in Sinaloa, Mexico. Known as the birthplace of banda and a heartbeat of regional Mexican music, Mazatlán provided a powerful backdrop for this milestone celebration. The occasion was especially meaningful as Calibre 50 marked an extraordinary achievement: 28 chart-topping hits on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart as of March 2026, solidifying their legacy in the genre.

The one we’re now showing off as No.1 on Billboard, which is ‘Me Enamoré Solo’. We’re in the heart of Sinaloan music. Mazatlán, Sinaloa, is known as the cradle of, of banda music. Not only Mazatlán, but the whole state is very, is very well recognized for the beautiful music that, that represents us, like norteño, norteño banda, um,campirana music, banda music. We’re proud and, and, and I say it for myself, I say it for all my colleagues, to represent our state worldwide with this beautiful music that we know you like a lot and that we thank you enormously for playing it every day.
