BTS’ J-hope announces new single ‘Killin’ It Girl’ with GloRilla

BTS‘ J-hope has announced a new single, ‘Killin’ It Girl’ featuring rapper GloRilla – find out more below.

The upcoming track is schedule for release on June 13, along with an accompanying music video. Per a press release, ‘Killin’ It Girl’ will capture “the thrill of falling in love at first sight. Imbued with refreshing honesty, the lyrics depict an infatuation towards a confident and irresistible other.” A solo version without GloRilla will also be released simultaneously.

Big Hit have additionally released the promotion schedule for the track, which will include a concept photo, a music video teaser and a live performance version, and a dance choreography version. Check out the schedule below.

Additionally, J-hope has released a concept film titled Charm of HOPE. It includes snippets of his last two singles ‘Sweet Dreams’ featuring Miguel and ‘Mona Lisa’, and ends with an instrumental teaser for ‘Killin’ It Girl’ with GloRilla.

On July 11, J-hope and Big Hit will release the ‘Charm of HOPE’ package, that will be available in three variations – each titled after one of his three latest singles. Each package will come with a unique keychain (or charm) designed after a single, and will include other memorabilia like photo cards and more.

The singer is currently in the midst of his ‘Hope on the Stage’ world tour, which is due to conclude in early June.

In a glowing five-star review of J-hope’s kick-off shows in Seoul, NME’s Rhian Daly wrote: “It’s clear he’s missed the stage, and here is where J-hope shines the brightest – something he’s made obvious with BTS but is now reinforcing by himself with a set that highlights his multi-faceted talents and allows him to burn more powerfully than ever.”
