The new J-hope and Don Toliver song was first previewed at the Louis Vuitton FW25 show in Paris on January 21. The song can be heard as Pharrell Williams, men’s creative director for the brand, walked out onto the runway at the end of the show with frequent design collaborator Nigo to greet audience members, including the BTS member, who is a global ambassador for the fashion house.
According to Billboard, ‘LV Bag’ was produced by Williams. The song was part of the show’s soundtrack, which also featured Final Fantasy VII’s ‘One-Winged Angel’ and two other original tracks produced by Williams: SEVENTEEN’s ‘Bad Influence’ and ‘Timeless’ by The Weeknd and Playboi Carti.
Earlier this month, J-hope teased new solo music to be released in March. “New music on the way. 2025.03.,” J-hope captioned. The K-pop idol’s new music is due to be his first since he was discharged from mandatory military service in October last year.
J-hope’s March release will also be the follow-up to March 2024’s ‘Hope on the Street Vol. 1’. That six-track record featured appearances by musicians like fellow BTS member Jungkook, LE SSERAFIM’s Huh Yunjin, producer Nile Rodgers and more.
In support of his forthcoming release, J-hope will also be embarking on his first-ever solo world tour, titled ‘Hope on the Stage’. It’s set to kick off with a three-night show in Seoul, before the rapper tours the US, Japan, Thailand, Singapore and more from March through to May.
