BRIT Awards 2025: First performers revealed

The first round of performers at the BRIT Awards 2025 have been revealed – see the current list of acts below.

Today (January 31), the BRIT Awards announced the first five performers for the upcoming awards ceremony, which will take place at The O2 in London on Saturday March 1, and broadcast exclusively on ITV1 and ITVX.

Announced so far are JADE, Shaboozey, Teddy Swims, The Last Dinner Party and Myles Smith, the last of whom in December was announced as the winner of the BRIT Awards 2025 Rising Star. Smith is also nominated for three more awards: Best New Artist, Song of the Year and Pop Act.

Like Smith, the four other performers who have been announced are also up for several awards at the ceremony. JADE is up for Song of the Year and Pop Act, while The Last Dinner Party are nominated for Mastercard Album of the Year, Group of the Year, Best New Artist and Alternative/Rock Act.

Teddy Swims’ ‘Lose Control’ is nominated for International Song of the Year, while Shaboozey is nominated in the same category for ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)’ – check out the full list of nominations here.

More acts are expected to be announce in the lead-up to the awards ceremony in March. Comedian and actor Jack Whitehall has been announced as the returning host, making it his fifth time presenting the ceremony after doing so in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.

This year’s top nominee is Charli XCX, who leads the pack with five nods including Artist Of The Year, Pop Act and Dance Act. Her collaboration with Billie Eilish, ‘Guess’, is also up for Song Of The Year, while her ‘BRAT’ record is shortlisted for Mastercard Album Of The Year.

Also nominated this year are The Cure, who have received their first BRIT nominations in over three decades for ‘Songs Of A Lost World’ – they are up for Album Of The Year, Group Of The Year and Alt/Rock Act. The Beatles have also been nominated for the Song Of The Year with Mastercard for ‘Now And Then’.

Winners in the Producer Of The Year and Songwriter Of The Year categories are set to be announced at a later date.

Back in November the new trophy design was revealed ahead of the 2025 ceremony. It was created by Gabriel Moses, an acclaimed British-Nigerian multi-disciplinary artist, who has collaborated with the likes of Skepta, Little Simz, Burberry and more throughout the years.
