Brandy and Monica Announce ‘The Boy Is Mine’ Co-Headlining Tour: ‘Full-Circle Moment’

Brandy and Monica shatter the glass perimeter of a maximum security sound asylum in the trailer for their forthcoming co-headlining tour. The Boy Is Mine Tour will find the two R&B musicians on the road for 24 shows with support from Kelly Rowland, Muni Long, and Jamal Roberts.

“This really is a full-circle moment,” Brandy shared in a statement. “Monica and I coming together again isn’t just about the music — it’s about honoring where we came from and how far we’ve both come. ‘The Boy Is Mine’ was a defining chapter in R&B, and to share the stage all these years later is bigger than a reunion — it’s a celebration of growth, sisterhood, and the love our fans have given us from day one.”

The Boy Is Mine Tour will begin on Oct. 16 in Cincinnati and extend through Dec. 7, when the duo will close out the run with a final show in Houston. The general sale begins Friday, June 27, at 10 a.m. local time. Presale access opens Thursday, June 26, at 10 a.m. local time and closes at 11:59 p.m. local time.

“The love that ‘The Boy Is Mine’ continues to receive means everything to me,” Monica said. In 2024, Brandy and Monica appeared on the remix of Ariana Grande’s Eternal Sunshine single “The Boy Is Mine,” which interpolates the original 1998 duet of the same name. They received a nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 2025 Grammy Awards. The OG recording was previously awarded Best R&B Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group at the 1999 Grammy Awards and received nominations for Record of the Year and Best R&B Song.

“This tour is a celebration of our history, our impact, and the fans who have grown with us,” Monica continued. “Brandy and I have been on our own unique journeys, and coming back together in this way is a reminder of the power of respect, strength, and real music. We’re giving the people what they’ve been asking for, and doing it with grace, love, and purpose. God’s timing perfectly aligned us.”
