Bose x NME announce release of C25 mixtape

Bose and NME have announced the ‘C25’ mixtape, the latest in our series of releases spotlighting the next generation of music talent from around the world.

The legendary C-Series compilation from the 1980s and ‘90s was first relaunched in March 2023 thanks to a new partnership between NME and Bose. Featured artists on ‘C23‘ included King Princess, Genesis Owusu and 070 Shake, with select artists performing their exclusive tracks during a massive launch party at SXSW in Austin, Texas.

‘C24’ arrived last summer, boasting a stacked line-up including rugged soulmaster Teddy Swims, jazz-loving singer-songwriter Laufey, London-based musician Artemas and more. Combined, the two releases have racked up more than 100million streams across 22 tracks.

Now, details for the next instalment have been announced with a release date set for later this year. The mixtape will be released on digital streaming platforms, alongside a limited run of vinyl records and cassette tapes. On Tape, an innovative video series featuring one-take, 360-degree performances from C25 artists, will also return after its hugely successful debut last year.

To keep up to date with all ‘Bose x NME: C25’ goings on including track-listing, line-up announcements and more, stay tuned to the dedicated C25 microsite which launches soon.
