Bonnaroo 2025 cancelled due to severe weather

Bonnaroo 2025 has been cancelled due to severe weather.

The Manchester, Tennessee festival shared the news to fans last night (June 13), after issuing an evacuation notice to attendees earlier in the day.

In a statement, organisers said that an updated weather forecast was showing unsustainable conditions for on-site campers, with heavy thunderstorms occurring throughout the area.

“Today, the National Weather Service provided us with an updated forecast with significant and steady precipitation that will produce deteriorating camping and egress conditions in the coming days,” the statement reads.

“We are beyond gutted, but we must make the safest decision and cancel the remainder of Bonnaroo. We are going to make things right with you, and you will find refund information at the end of this message, but let’s start with the next steps.”

They went on to add how “crushed” organisers are to make this decision. “We have put our hearts and souls into making this weekend the most special one of the year, and cannot express how crushed we are to have to make this decision. Thank you in advance for your patience, your positivity and your unfailing Bonnaroovian spirit.”

The statement then ends with refund details, including which tickets and parking passes will be refunded in full and what will be returned in part since Thursday’s line-up went ahead as planned. Find the full refund details in the second slide below:

Bonnaroo kicked off Thursday with performances from Luke Combs, Rebecca Black and more. Friday night’s headliners were scheduled to be Tyler, The Creator, John Summit and Glass Animals; Saturday’s lineup was led by Olivia Rodrigo, Avril Lavigne and Justice. Sunday, meanwhile, would have wrapped up with Hozier, Vampire Weekend and Queens of the Stone Age.

On Tuesday (June 10), it was reported that Jonathan Mayers, co-founder of events company Superfly Entertainment and co-creator of Bonnaroo and Outside Lands, had died.
