Billie Eilish Grabbed and Pulled by Fan During Miami Concert

The musician appeared to be unharmed after the incident, which occurred while she was leaving the stage and exchanging high-fives with fans on the floor

Billie Eilish was violently grabbed by a fan and nearly pulled into the crowd during her concert at the Kaseya Center in Miami Thursday night, Oct. 9.

Viral video of the incident shows Eilish leaving the stage and exchanging high-fives with fans when someone grabs her arm and tires to yank her into the crowd. This causes Eilish to fall backwards against the barricade, though she was quickly helped up by security. Eilish appeared uninjured, but walked the rest of the way without interacting with fans.

In a second overhead video of the incident, there’s a fan who is shoved and falls backwards through the crowd before landing on the floor. They’re quickly followed by another fan, who appears to be berating them.

In a statement (via NBC News), the Miami Police Department said the person “was ejected from the Kaseya Center” after the incident, but there are no criminal charges pending. Reps for Eilish did not immediately return a request for comment.

Eilish has spoken out in the past about fans behaving inappropriately at concerts. In a 2023 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she addressed the strange phenomenon of people throwing objects on stage during concerts, noting that she’d “been getting hit on stage with things for like, literally, six years.”

She added: “People just get excited and it can be dangerous. I have mixed feelings about it, because when you’re up there it blows. But you know it’s out of love and they’re just trying to give you something. You’re in a vulnerable position, but I’ve been getting hit with stuff for like years.” (During a December 2024 concert in Arizona, Eilish was hit by what appeared to be a blue bracelet while performing “What Was I Made For?”)

Last night’s Miami show marked the start of the new North American leg of Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft tour. She has two more shows at the Kaseya Center (Oct. 11 and 12), with additional dates scheduled through November.
