BigXthaPlug and 600 Entertainment Make Noise for Texas With ‘6WA’

BigXthaPlug is betting big on unity. After a dominant year in which he cemented himself as one of the top dual threats in music with his album I Hope You’re Happy, BigX is looking to open the door for 600 Entertainment, his label with a roster that also includes fellow Texas rappers Ro$ama, Yung Hood, Murdagang PB, KevanGotBandz, and KaineMusic.

The crew makes a bold statement on their new single “6WA,” a track draped in vintage West Coast sonics, with nods to various Cali rap legends. Accompanied by a music video, premiered exclusively by Rolling Stone, the track includes appearances from BigXthaPlug, Ro$ama, Yung Hood, and Murdagang PB. Directed by Jerry Morka, the video finds BigX and company rolling out old-school automobiles dipped in candy paint with glistening rims, staying true to the Texan tradition of always doing it big.

While anchored by BigX’s commanding presence, “6WA” is bolstered by standout performances from all of the 600 members featured here. It’s the first single from their upcoming mixtape, also  titled 6WA, which is out March 20 with cover art inspired by N.W.A’s 1989 classic Straight Outta Compton, and features from Snoop Dogg and Dallas-to-California legend the D.O.C. This is the group’s second mixtape after 2024’s Meet the 6ixers, and it continues to position the imprint as the next breakout label out of Texas, poised to follow in the footsteps of Screwed Up Click and Swishahouse.

“We’re trying to express ourselves in our own words. To let them know what we’ve been through and what we’ve overcome, and where we came from,” BigXthaPlug said in a statement released with the new track. “We all have the same mission and the same goal.”
