Beyoncé’s New ‘Cowboy Carter’ Art Book Is Already Sold Out

If you were hoping to buy Beyoncé’s new Cowboy Carter art book, well, it’s already too late.

The 136-page tome was announced just yesterday, Dec. 1, by Bey’s Parkwood Entertainment, and as of publication this afternoon on Dec. 2, copies of the book are already sold out. Per a description, the book boasts “exclusive, never-before-seen imagery inspired by” Beyoncé’s Grammy-nominated album, Cowboy Carter.

Those who were lucky enough to snag a copy before it sold out will see their orders start to ship on Dec. 13.

Beyoncé released Cowboy Carter back in March, marking the second installment of an expected album trilogy that began with 2022’s Renaissance. After that album’s deep dive into the world of dance music, Cowboy Carter found Beyoncé exploring country, American roots music, and more, with a guest list that featured Shaboozey, Dolly Parton, Linda Martell, Willie Nelson, and Rhiannon Giddens.

Cowboy Carter — which landed at Number Two on Rolling Stone’s list of the Best Albums of 2024 — recently helped Beyoncé pick up 11 Grammy nominations, making her the most-nominated artist in the show’s history. (She became the most decorated Grammy winner last year.) In the general field, Beyoncé is up for Song and Record of the Year for “Texas Hold ‘Em,” while Cowboy Carter is nominated for Album of the Year.

She also picked up several country category noms, including Best Country Album, Country Solo Performance (“16 Carriages”), Country Song (“Texas Hold ‘Em”), and Country Duo/Group Performance (“II Most Wanted” with Miley Cyrus). And she even snuck in a nod for Best Americana Performance for “Ya Ya.”

Next on the calendar for Beyoncé is a highly-anticipated halftime performance during Netflix’s inaugural NFL Christmas Gameday live, which will see the streamer airing two games on Dec. 25. Bey will perform during the second match-up between the Houston Texans and the Baltimore Ravens.

Those hoping for more Beyoncé performances, however, will likely have to wait. Last week, rumors started percolating that the musician was set to announce a new tour after her Christmas Day halftime show, but Beyoncé’s longtime rep, Yvette Noel-Schure, personally shot down the speculation on X. “Untrue. Nothing to report here,” she said. “Whenever there is news, you will hear it directly from the source, first.”
