Beyoncé to Headline NFL Christmas Day Halftime Show on Netflix

The concert will mark the first live performance of songs from her country album Cowboy Carter

The holidays have come early: Beyoncé will perform during Netflix‘s inaugural NFL Christmas Gameday live on Netflix on Dec. 25. Her performance will take place during the second of Netflix’s two games as the Houston Texans match-up against the Baltimore Ravens at NRG Stadium in Houston.

The halftime show is being produced by Beyoncé’s company, Parkwood Entertainment and Jesse Collins Entertainment, and will mark the first live performance of songs from her recent LP, Cowboy Carter. She shared the news in a short Instagram clip, which sees the singer catching a football while standing on a flower-covered car.

A press release notes, “Although the details of her performance are under wraps, Beyoncé is expected to feature some special guests who are featured on the Cowboy Carter album.” Notably, guests on her LP include Shaboozey, Miley Cyrus, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Linda Martell, and Post Malone.

In May, Netflix announced they had signed on to stream the NFL’s two new Christmas Day games: the Kansas City Chiefs vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1 p.m. EST and the Baltimore Ravens vs. the Houston Texans at 4:30 p.m. EST. Netflix will also host the NFL games on Christmas Day in 2025 and 2026. Additionally, the games will air on broadcast TV in the competing team’s cities and be available on U.S. mobile devices with NFL+.
