As the Los Angeles wildfires continue to devastate the city, celebrities are coming together to support the wildfire relief efforts that have been working tirelessly to help the community rebuild and gather resources for victims.
At the time of publication, the Palisades fire has burned nearly 24,000 acres and is only 19% contained, while the east-side Eaton fires are 45% contained at 14,000 acres. In the past week, the fires have caused 24 deaths, nearly 100,000 people under evacuation orders, and more than 12,000 structures destroyed. The tragedy has killed 25 people to date.
As a result, number of stars are using their platforms and net worth to support give back and donate to the community, including everyone from Beyoncé and Doja Cat to Metallica and more. Entertainment industry figures have spoken about the loss of their homes — including Mandy Moore, Paris Hilton, Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, Jhené Aiko, Paris Hilton, songwriter Diane Warren, The Hills stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag and many more — even as others step up to offer help.
Additionally, resources are available for those who have lost their homes or need assistance in other ways. MusiCares and the Recording Academy have launched the Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort to support music professionals impacted by the crisis, making a combined pledge of $1 million to kick off the efforts. People who have worked in the music industry for more than five years may qualify for immediate assistance, including up to $1,500 in financial aid and $500 in food vouchers.

Beyoncé
Beyoncé‘s BeyGood Foundation pledged $2.5 million to assist families in recovery. In an Instagram post, the foundation announced the pledge to the L.A. Fire Relief Fund aimed at helping impacted Los Angelenos in the midst of one of the most destructive wildfires in the state’s history.
“The fund is earmarked to aid families in the Altadena/Pasadena area who lost their homes, and to churches and community centers to address the immediate needs of those affected by the wildfires,” read the post, which encouraged followers to show their support for the impacted families by visiting the organization’s website.

Doja Cat
Doja — who was born and raised in the L.A. area — shared on Instagram that she has partnered with the American Red Cross to specially design a line of merchandise benefitting the charity organization’s relief efforts in California.
“Please help me and @americanredcross support my beautiful state of California,” Doja wrote, captioning photos of some of the pieces. “100% of proceeds go to American Red Cross to support the people of California affected by the wildfires.”

Ice Nine
The Boston-bred group announced over the weekend the launch of a fundraiser they’ve dubbed “Heed the Call For California,” with 100% of the proceeds going to the California Fire Foundation Wildlife & Disaster Relief Fund, which will directly support victims across the state.
The black T-shirt features an image of the masked character Ghostface from the Scream movie series dressed as a California firefighter holding an axe, with the band’s name in white behind him amid a palm tree sunset and the effort’s moniker in red horror script below. The band’s philanthropic foundation, All Within My Hands, is granting $500,000 to relief efforts carried out by the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund and the Pasadena Community Foundation’s Eaton Canyon Fire Relief and Recovery Fund, per a press release. The foundation “dedicates itself to creating sustainable communities by supporting workforce education, the fight against hunger, and other critical local services,” says its website.

Paris Hilton
Hilton launched an emergency fund through her nonprofit 11:11 Media Impact to support families who have lost their homes in the fires. “My heart is with everyone impacted by the devastating fires here in LA,” Hilton wrote on Instagram. “While I’ve lost my Malibu home, my thoughts are with the countless families who have lost so much more — their homes, cherished keepsakes, the communities they loved, and their sense of stability.”
The singer and entrepreneur added, “As a mom, I can’t imagine the pain and fear of not having a safe place for your babies.”
She added that she is contributing $100,000 to the fund and will match additional donations up to $100,000. “I’m asking others to join me in doing our part to support these families,” she wrote.

Taylor Swift
The “Anti-Hero” singer announced on Jan. 16 that she had donated to multiple charities that are aiding those impacted by the wildfires. “The fires in California have devastated so many families, and it’s been heartbreaking to see these stories unfold,” she wrote in her announcement posted to her Instagram Stories.”

The Eagles
The Eagles have pledged $2.5 million to FireAid, the Jan. 30 benefit concert for Los Angeles fire victims to be held at Intuit Dome. The event, billed as “an evening of music and solidarity” and produced by the Irving Azoff family alongside usual competitors Live Nation and AEG Presents, will donate proceeds toward an organization created to rebuild Los Angeles infrastructure, as well as support displaced families and advance fire prevention technologies and strategies.

The Weeknd
The musician announced on Jan. 17 that he donated $1 million to help with wildfire relief efforts via Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, GoFundMe’s Wildfire Relief Fund and Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.

Travis Scott
Scott’s new song “4×4” will be accompanied by a philanthropic initiative. Scott announced that 100% of the net proceeds from special merchandise—a shirt and zip hoodie honoring Los Angeles’ first responders—will benefit Direct Relief’s California Wildfire Response Fund. Rüfüs Du Sol
Rüfüs Du Sol will play a show benefitting Los Angeles wildfire relief efforts on March 6 at the Hollywood Palladium. The one night only performance will feature a DJ set by the Australia-born, U.S.-based group.
100% of the ticket proceeds from the Live Nation produced event will be donated to California Community Foundation Wildfire Recovery Fund, which is focused on directing resources with people most in need.

Chris Stapleton
Outlaw State of Kind — the charity formed by Chris Stapleton and his wife Morgane in 2018 — announced a $1 million to wildfire relief efforts on Jan. 28 via Instagram. “Outlaw State of Kind has donated $1 million to support national and local organizations providing wildfire relief in Los Angeles,” the organization’s Instagram account announced. “Join us in supporting however you can.”
