Belle & Sebastian to celebrate 30th anniversary of ‘Tigermilk’ and ‘If You’re Feeling Sinister’ with 2026 UK, Europe and North American tour

Belle & Sebastian have announced a 2026 tour to celebrate the 30th anniversaries of ‘Tigermilk’ and ‘If You’re Feeling Sinister’.

The Glasgow band released both of their landmark first two studio albums in 1996 and to mark three decades since they shook up the indie pop world, they have confirmed they will be heading on the road in the UK, Europe and North America.

Stuart Murdoch and co. will play a series of double-header shows in various cities during the first half of 2026, with the first of each pair to see them play ‘Tigermilk’ in full and the second ‘If You’re Feeling Sinister’. All shows will also include a second set of classic Belle & Sebastian tracks from across their career.

The tour kicks off in Bern, Switzerland on February 24 and includes dates in Dublin, London’s Royal Albert Hall and Manchester. After returning from North America, they will round it off with two hometown shows in Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Bandstand on June 26 and 27.

Tickets go on pre-sale at 10am local time on Wednesday (August 20), with a Spotify Fans First pre-sale on Thursday at the same time. General sale then follows at 10am on Friday (August 22), and you can find UK tickets here, and US tickets here.

‘Tigermilk’ and ‘If You’re Feeling Sinister’ established Belle & Sebastian as cult favourites to the ‘90s indie crowd, blending bookish, literate storytelling with homespun indie pop arrangements and immediately earning critical acclaim and a fiercely devoted fanbase.

They have remained active ever since, releasing 10 further studio albums, most recently 2023’s ‘Late Developers’.
