BABYMETAL announce 2025 UK and European tour with Poppy and Bambie Thug

BABYMETAL have announced a UK and European tour for 2025 – you can find all the details below.

The Japanese kawaii metal band are due to bring their full arena tour overseas for the first time next year, with Poppy and Bambie Thug appearing as special guests.

“In 2025, BABYMETAL will enter a new era,” a statement from the Fox God reads. “The METALVERSE will expand and we will travel to a world we have never experienced, with new songs.”

The upcoming tour is scheduled to visit arenas in Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, Zurich, Barcelona, Paris and other European cities throughout May. From there, BABYMETAL will head to the UK for a concert at The O2 in London on Friday May 30.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am BST/11am CET this Friday (October 25) – you’ll be able to buy yours here (UK) and here (Europe). A Ticketmaster pre-sale for the London date will go live here at the same time tomorrow (Thursday October 24).

Alternatively, you can sign up for an artist pre-sale code here to access tickets at 10am today (Wednesday October 23).

BABYMETAL’s 2025 UK and European tour dates are:

MAY

12 – Barclays Arena, Hamburg, Germany
13 – Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam, Netherlands
16 – Jahrhunderthalle, Frankfurt, Germany
17 – Velodrom, Berlin, Germany
19 – Tauron Arena, Krakow, Poland

25 – Vistalegre, Madrid, Spain

Apart from a record-breaking, sold-out show at London’s OVO Arena Wembley in 2016, BABYMETAL have not previously had the opportunity to bring their arena show to European audiences.

The group are scheduled to embark on a North American headline tour next month and will open for Slipknot in Mexico City on November 9.

In June, Babymetal played a main stage slot at Download Festival 2024. Speaking to NME backstage at the event, the band said they didn’t want to deviate too far from their roots with their forthcoming North American gigs.

“You know what? We haven’t changed at all,” explained Su-Metal, looking back at the band’s evolution, 10 years after their debut album.

“We have always been BABYMETAL, the way we are, and we still have a long way to go. [Being here now is] all thanks to everyone who supported us, whether it’s our fans, the media, staff, or even other bands we’ve met before.”

They also talked about Bring Me The Horizon’s Oli Sykes joining them on stage. “When we headbanged together it was such a happy moment that I don’t even know how to put it into words,” Momometal recalled.
