The 38-track collection arrived today (December 17) via Warp Records. It features all the music the legendary producer and DJ has released in eight years of vinyl drops.

He has been cryptically issuing vinyl releases that had been exclusively available at his merch table during live shows and DJ sets for over a decade. This new project marks the first time some fans have heard the material he has shared over this time.

You can listen to Aphex Twin’s ‘From The Merch Desk (2016-2023)’ in its entirety via Spotify below.

It comes after Aphex Twin dropped an expanded edition of his 1994 album ‘Selected Ambient Works II’ in October to mark its 30th anniversary. It contains the previously unreleased song ‘th1 [evnslower]’ and’ ‘#19’. The latter used to be known as ‘Stone In Focus’, and was only available on vinyl.

Warp Records also put on a listening event at the Tate Modern in London to celebrate the reissue.

Aphex Twin released his ‘Blackbox Life Recorder 21f / in a room7 F760′ EP in 2023, his first new music in five years. The collection also spawned its own augmented reality app.

He then dropped his EP ‘London 19.08.2023’ the following month to coincide with his headline performance at Field Day 2023 in London.

Aphex Twin has not released a full-length studio album since 2014’s Grammy Award-winning ‘Syro’.

In other news, the electronic musician DJed a wedding for a crowd of less than 100 people over the summer.
