TBWAMedia Arts Lab (MAL), the global creative agency of Apple, has appointed Ahn Do as global head of music, reporting directly to global CCO Brent Anderson. Ahn Do comes from Google Brand Studios as their in-house music supervisor, and she previously served as the global head of music and executive creative director at Expedia Group. While at Expedia Group, she helped oversee music for Expedia, Hotel.com and Vrbo.
“I believe music can make you feel something before you fully know why,” Ahn Do said in a statement. “That belief is a big part of what drew me to MAL. There’s a real care for craft here and an understanding of the subtle magic that can transform a piece of work. Music has always been a part of Apple’s DNA, and I’m incredibly excited to join this team and help shape what music can bring to the work globally.”
Across her career, Ahn Do has worked across music, brand and film. She had served as music supervisor on The Stroll on HBO.

PRG Names Jennifer Caserta Chief People Officer & Joe Simon Chief Technology & Information Officer
Jennifer Caserta has been appointed chief people officer of Production Resource Group (PRG), while Joe Simon has been named chief technology and information officer. Both will report to the company’s CEO, Lawrence Burian.

William Morris Endeavor (WME) has promoted Sara Williams to head of music marketing. She will now report to the agency’s global head of music, Kirk Sommer.

Willie “Prophet” Stiggers Appointed to City of Hope’s Music, Film and Entertainment Industry Exec Board
Willie “Prophet” Stiggers, co-founder and president/CEO of the Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC), has been appointed a member of the City of Hope’s Music, Film and Entertainment Industry (MFEI) executive board.
In announcing the news, City of Hope’s chief philanthropy officer Kristin Bertell stated in part, “For more than five decades, MFEI has brought together people who have reached the highest levels of the entertainment business and want to use that influence for something larger than themselves. Prophet is a natural addition to that tradition … he understands the impact this industry can have when its leaders rally behind City of Hope’s mission to make hope a reality for all who face cancer.”
Calling his appointment “an opportunity to serve and to help save lives,” Stiggers added, “The disparities in cancer outcomes in Black and brown communities are real … This is about turning access into action and helping more families get the care they need before it is too late.” — Gail Mitchell

Venue Coalition Hires Two
Venue Coalition has hired Cameron Moss and Christine Pileckas to vp of booking. Moss has previously held roles at Ticketmaster, Live Nation and Feld Entertainment, while Pileckas most recently served as director of booking and marketing at INTRUST Bank Arena and Century II Performing Arts Center and Convention Center in Wichita, Kansas, for Legends Global.
Moss said, “Throughout my career, I’ve built meaningful and authentic relationships at every level of this industry. Those strong connections are exactly what our member venues need to compete in today’s competitive landscape. The chance to advocate for them and open doors is what excites me most about joining the Venue Coalition team.”

Brandon Schmidt & Lottie Moore (DICE)
Brandon Schmidt and Lottie Moore have been named director of sales, North America, at DICE, the ticketing platform announced. Schmidt previously held roles at Eventim US and Front Gate Tickets, while Moore had previously served as general manager, North America, at Resident Advisor.
“Independent venues and promoters are the heartbeat of the live music industry,” Schmidt said in a statement. “I’m excited to help these folks grow their businesses and build stronger relationships with their customers through powerful event discovery, a modern UX, and a truly fan-first approach. Stacey Marcus & Michael Isselin (Venable)
National law firm Venable has brought on advertising attorneys Stacy Marcus and Michael Isselin as partners. The two advise on a wide range of media matters including celebrity endorsements, talent agreements and music licensing, and they represent the advertising industry in labor negotiations with SAG-AFTRA and the American Federation of Musicians.
Marcus and Isselin are joining Venable’s New York office from DLA Piper, where they practiced since 2024. Before that, both were partners at Reed Smith. Marcus has a J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law, and Isselin graduated summa cum laude from New York Law School.

Shake It Africa Launches
Ugandan singer/songwriter Jon Muq has launched a new record label, Shake It Africa, alongside music executive Kevin Wommack.
“We’re not just releasing music,” Muq, who also serves as the label’s creative director, said in a statement. “We’re creating the kind of opportunities many of us wished existed when we were starting out. I know what it feels like to chase a dream without knowing if there’s room for you. Shake It Africa is about to make sure more African artists are seen, heard and supported while staying true to who they are.”
