The project marks the first time the sisters have released music together since P.S. Eliot in 2011.

Surprise released yesterday (October 31) via ANTI- Records, the 13-track self-titled album features collaborations with Brad Cook – who produced and engineered most of the record, and MJ Lenderman.

All four musicians play across the entire record, and you can check out a full tracklist and stream it below.

Since parting ways as P.S. Eliot, Allison formed Swearin’, while Katie began releasing music as Waxahatchee. Per a press release, the record “was born out of the twin sisters’ desire to work on music together as they had in their teens and twenties”.

Snocaps ‘Snocaps’ tracklist is:

1. ‘Coast’
2. ‘Heathcliff’
3. ‘Wasteland’
4. ‘Brand New City’
5. ‘Hide’
6. ‘Cherry Hard Candy’
7. ‘Avalanche’
8. ‘Doom’
9. ‘Over Our Heads’
10. ‘Angel Wings’
11. ‘I Don’t Want To’
12. ‘You In Rehab’
13. ‘Coast II’

Waxahatchee’s sixth studio album, ‘Tigers Blood’, was released last year, and NME awarded it the full five stars.

“These songs offer a more adult and grounded perspective than ones like ‘Lone Star Lake’ and ‘Evil Spawn’; they’re about the person who feels like home rather than the one who gets your blood pumping,” the review read. “It’s a nice counterweight that feels emblematic of ‘Tigers Blood’ — it’s a burning fire, and it’s a warm summer evening at once.”

‘Tigers Blood’ also landed the 35th spot on NME’s 50 Best Albums Of 2024 list, with editor Alex Flood sharing: “The best songs make you feel like everything is going to be OK and that you’re right where you need to be in that moment. Every second of this exquisite ode to old-school Americana by Waxahatchee – from its unhurried opener ‘3 Sisters’ to the warm country ballad ‘Right Back To It’ – will put you completely at ease.”

In other news, Waxahatchee recently joined Rilo Kiley onstage at their reunion tour, for a version of ‘With Arms Outstretched’.
