Alan White teases joining Oasis reunion line-up

Former Oasis drummer Alan White teased that he might join the band in their sold-out 2025 reunion tour after posting a cryptic social media post.

The drummer, now 52, shared a picture of his drum kit containing Union Jack flag-themed artwork from the Oasis days—this fuelled speculation as to whether he’ll be joining the much anticipated 2025 reunion tour.

The reunion tour was announced on Tuesday (August 27), with Liam and Noel Gallagher set to take to the stage together for the first time in 16 years. They will be playing 17 dates in the UK and Ireland next summer.

There is currently talk about which previous Oasis members could be joining Liam and Noel on the road in 2025, with co-founder Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs reportedly on board.

However, previous reports claimed that “no other original Oasis member is expected to join the reunion”, and that “the members of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will step in”. It is not yet known who will be playing the drums on the tour.

Original Oasis drummer Tony McCarroll, who White replaced, has already hinted he won’t appear in the reunion tour. He said to MailOnline: “I’m happy for Noel and Liam. Really happy for them…And I’m dead happy for the fans more than anything and for those generations who haven’t seen Oasis.”

He also revealed that the band hadn’t been in touch with him about the reunion plans, saying: “’They haven’t reached out yet and to be honest I’m not holding my breath.”

McCarroll said he holds no grudges and isn’t upset about potentially missing out on the tours, which are expected to pull in an estimated £400 million next year.

Reunion tour gigs are set to take place at Manchester’s Heaton Park, London’s Wembley Stadium, Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Dublin’s Croke Park, and Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium. Mid-week, extra gigs were confirmed for Manchester, London and Edinburgh in response to “unprecedented demand”.
