Adam Scott had an awful time at Coachella this year

Adam Scott has revealed that he attended this year’s Coachella with his family, and by his own account had a “terrible” time.

The Severance star appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and discussed how he was convinced to take his daughter and her friends to the festival, which took place across two weekends in Indio, California, between April 10-19. Headliners included Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G. Despite the high profile names performing, however, Scott did not have a great experience.

“Our daughter, Frankie, she’s 17 years old,” he explained. “She just somehow — and I don’t remember when and how — convinced [my wife] Naomi and I to bring she and four of her friends to Coachella. She never asked us. It just became a thing we were doing. And so we did it. We brought she and her friends to Coachella.”

When asked by the host if he enjoyed himself, he replied: “It was terrible. I hated it… I had gone to Coachella like a long time ago and it’s probably exactly the same. I just now hate it… I really wanted to see The Strokes. And so I, you know, we went and saw them and that was great. But then that ends and there’s nowhere to go. Like there’s nowhere to lay down and relax while you wait, because then we wanted to see someone else—and Justin Bieber was performing. He was terrific. And then when that ended, it took us an hour just to find Frankie and her friends.”

He concluded: “We find them, we get them in the car, and then we were in the parking lot for two and a half hours just to get out of the parking lot. And like, we went to bed at like 5AM.”

Severance season two ended last March and received rave reviews, with Apple CEO Tim Cook himself confirming a third season via social media. In February, Apple Studios acquired the show from production company Fifth Season in a deal worth just under $70million, and it’s expected that the sci-fi thriller will run for at least four seasons with some spin-offs also on the horizon.

Last year, Adam Scott opened up about his feelings about rewatching his breakthrough show, sitcom Parks And Recreation, saying that it makes him “sad”.
