Rising pop star Madison Beer has Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert in her proverbial heart-shaped locket.
The pair first confirmed their relationship at one of the football player’s games in October, just as Beer was gearing up to release her third album, Locket – having already put out her debut full-length Life Support in 2021 and her sophomore effort Silence Between Songs in 2023 – that January. Their debut as a couple came five years after Herbert was drafted by the Chargers in 2020 as the overall sixth pick that year, and the lovebirds haven’t been shy about showing off their romance ever since.
The “Bittersweet” singer, of course, joins Taylor Swift, who is married to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and Megan Thee Stallion, who dated Dallas Mavericks shooting guard Klay Thompson, as a high-profile partner of a star athlete — known fondly as a “WAG” — in recent years. Beer also joins a long history of music-sports romances before them, which includes couples such as Ciara and Russell Wilson, Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, Victoria Beckham and David Beckham, Stefon Diggs and Cardi B, Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo, and more.
And from their first sideline kiss to attending various sporting events, reportedly partying with other Chargers players and WAGs and — as announced at the end of July 2026 — getting engaged, Beer and Herbert have become an adorable addition to that crew.
