A New Skrillex Album Is Imminent: See the Track List

Hear the rumble? After a series of recent single releases and the debut of his Contra event this past weekend in Berlin, the Skrillex machine continues shifting towards high gear with the announcement of a forthcoming new album from the artist.

On his Instagram Stories on Monday, Skrill shared the name and track list of his fifth studio LP, Soma. While a release date has not yet been announced, what’s certain is that the album will include 13 tracks including his March Young Miko collab “Duro,” “La Noche 2” (which seems likely to be an update to his 2025 Chris Lake and Anita B Queen collab “La Noche”) and last week’s “Thistle” with Randomer, Blawan and MC Dricka. Soma is the first new album from Skrillex since the April 2025 release of  F*CK U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!! <3, which was effectively a 46-minute megamix assembled from 36 tracks. That album came after the February 2023 release of Quest For Fire, which Skrill followed with the surprise-release of another album, Don’t Get Too Close, the next day.

These projects were the first LPs from the producer since his 2014 full-length debut Recess and followed a series of hyped pop-up shows in New York City alongside Four Tet and Fred again… The frenzy around these sets culminated in the last-minute announcement of the trio’s headlining show at Madison Square Garden, which sold out in minutes.

The artist has a busy summer schedule that includes performances at Barcelona’s Primavera Sound this weekend, a headlining slot at Bonnaroo, appearances at Kappa Future Festival in Turin, Italy, Dekmantel in The Netherlands, Hungary’s Sziget, England’s Boomtown and a headlining show alongside Boys Noize at Portola, where the pair will revive their early 2010s bass bomb side project, Dog Blood.
