Kanye West apologises to Jay-Z after vulgar and insulting tweets towards his and Beyoncé’s children

Kanye West has issued an apology to Jay-Z, seemingly relating to nasty comments about his and Beyoncé’s children.

The latest remark was shared on X/Twitter, and seemed to relate to a previous update from the rapper, who publicly questioned the mental capacity of the artists’ youngest children, calling them “retarded”.

Shared on March 18 as part of a series of posts, Ye also made remarks that the twin seven-year-old twins of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Rumi and Sir Carter, were conceived through vitro fertilisation. He then deleted the post and re-uploaded it, doubling down on his stance. This involved clarifying to his followers that he had not deleted the post in order to be “a good person”.

Now, it seems like the rapper has issued a cryptic apology to Jay-Z for the comments.

“I’m sorry Jay Z,” he wrote on X. “I be feeling bad about my tweet but I still feel I gave my life to this industry and thought so many people were my family but when I needed family on some real shit none of these rap n****s had my back.”

After the initial comments were made about the children, neither Beyoncé nor Jay-Z made any public remarks against Ye. It was reported, however, that they were considering taking legal action against West.

A source also told Page Six that the couple found the remarks “shocking” and they will “absolutely not stand for” the “vulgar and offensive” remarks.

Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles then appeared to hit out at Kanye for the remarks. “It’s hard to remain positive and classy in the face of ignorance and evil,” she wrote on Instagram. “But I know that no weapon formed against me or my family shall prosper. This battle is not mine, but the Lords, I know that God has got this.”

The ‘Crazy In Love’ singer’s father Matthew Knowles then chimed in too, telling TMZ: “People pay a price for being stupid, especially in the music industry. I’m hopeful Kanye gets the type of help he needs, in terms of mental health.”

Beyond that, West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian has also hit out at the rapper for the comments. An anonymous source spoke to Page Six and said that the reality star was “appalled” by the posts and is “done trying to be reasonable with Kanye when it comes to communication.”

Neither Beyoncé nor Jay-Z have commented publicly about the rapper’s apology.

At the start of the month, it was reported that West had confirmed that his wife Bianca Censori had left him over his numerous online rants – which also included multiple antisemitic comments and claims he is a Nazi – in a new song.

Dubbed ‘BIANCA’, the track is set to feature in the rapper’s forthcoming album ‘WW3’ and contains the lyrics: “My baby she ran away / But first she tried to get me committed / Not going to the hospital ’cause I am not sick I just do not get it.

“She’s having a panic attack and she is not liking the way that I tweeted / Until Bianca’s back I stay up all night I’m not going to sleep / I really don’t know where she’s at.”
