Buju Banton, The Roots, Lil Kim & More Set for 2025 BET Experience Concert Series

Buju Banton, Jagged Edge, The Roots and Lil Kim are among the first wave of artists announced as performers for its BET Experience 2025 concert series. The BET Media Group’s multiday celebration, which also includes the free BETX FanFest, will take place on June 5-8 in Los Angeles followed by this year’s BET Awards (June 9).

The schedule thus far for the BET Experience concert series, co-produced by Live Nation Urban, breaks down as follows:

  • BET Experience (June 5): Reggae star Banton will jumpstart the festivities with a headlining performance at the Hollywood Palladium.
  • A Roots Picnic Experience: Class of ‘95 (June 8): The Roots’ legendary picnic celebration returns to the Hollywood Bowl. Joining the group will be fellow performers Lil’ Kim, Redman & Method Man, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Raekwon, Goodie Mob, E-40, DJ Quik and Havoc.
  • BET R&B Night (June 8): Holding court on the YouTube Theater stage will be Jagged Edge, Donell Jones and Eric Bellinger with a special set by R&B ONLY featuring Tiára Moniqueand JABARI.

Rounding out the week’s festivities is the free BETX FanFest taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center (June 7-8).  BET Experience is also partnering with Waymaker’s Men’s Summit (June 56) at The Beehive by SoLa Impact for two days of networking and conversations focused on men of color. Pre-sale tickets for BET R&B Night are available starting Thursday (April 10) on the website. Tickets for Buju Banton and the Roots Picnic are also available for purchase. Additional BET Experience 2025 talent and programming will be announced at a later date.
