Jonas Brothers have detailed their upcoming 20th anniversary Living the Dream tour, a stretch of 10 stadium shows followed by an extensive arena jaunt.
“We’re beyond excited to hit the road and celebrate 20 years of music,” the Jonas Brothers said in a statement. “Our fans have been with us through every chapter, and this tour is our way of honoring them, the memories we’ve made, and the ones we’ll create together. We can’t wait to make this our biggest, most unforgettable tour yet.”
The Jonas20: Living the Dream tour — which will also feature sets dedicated to the music of Nick Jonas & the Administration, Nick Jonas’ solo career, Joe Jonas’ solo work, and DNCE — will begin August 10 at East Rutherford, New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium before moving on to nine baseball stadiums, including Boston’s Fenway Park, Chicago’s Wrigley Field, and Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium.
After that, the tour will go inside with a lengthy arena trek that starts Sept. 18 in Vancouver and currently runs through Nov. 14 at Uncasville, Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun Arena. Over the course of the trek, Marshmello, the All-American Rejects and Boys LIke Girls will serve as opening acts.
Earlier this week, the brothers — who are holding their JonasCon this weekend at an entertainment complex near MetLife Stadium — revealed that they would kick off their trek in their home state. “Our journey began in New Jersey, it’s where we grew up,” Nick said on Good Morning America. “Joe mentioned riding up and down the East Coast in a trailer. Just really humble beginnings playing in malls, because we couldn’t sell tickets ourselves, and we’d pop up in there and play.”
Kevin added that their younger selves, who performed in that same mall nearly two decades ago, “would have laughed” at being told they would make it to the MetLife Stadium stage. “Now we’re sitting here being able to play these venues and see our fans that have supported us for so many years,” he said. “It’s just incredible.”
