Harry Styles Was ‘Never’ Planning a Residency at Las Vegas’ Sphere, Venue Rep Says

Harry Styles is not planning a residency at Las Vegas’ Sphere, and according to a spokesperson for the venue, he never was.

In a statement shared exclusively with Billboard Thursday morning (March 13) following a week of rumors purporting that the pop star was in talks to play 35 dates at The Sphere, the representative said, “To set [the] record straight, there has never been plans for Harry Styles to perform at Sphere.”

The news is sure to come as a disappointment to countless fans who’d spent the past several days dreaming of seeing Styles in Sin City. Reports that he was planning shows at the Sphere first emerged around March 6, though nothing was ever confirmed. Even so, the internet had been ablaze with people posting about their excitement for the rumored run. Many had also hoped that the purported residency was a sign the One Direction alum was finally planning to make a musical comeback three years after the release of his 2022 Billboard 200-topping LP, Harry’s House

Styles hasn’t toured since his global Love On Tour, which ran from 2021 to 2023, and supported both the star’s Fine Line and Harry’s House albums. During the trek, the Grammy winner fit in a few mini residencies, including a 15-show run at New York City’s Madison Square Garden and another 15 shows at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Calif.

The “As It Was” singer has kept a low profile in recent years, with fans occasionally spotting him in public. He was most recently seen in Japan, where he completed the Tokyo Marathon, finishing in 6,010th place out of a group of more than 37,000 runners.
