Fresh off of their Rock Hall nomination, the Black Crowes will revisit their time performing alongside Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page with a 25th-anniversary edition of their live album Live at the Greek.
For the reissue, the original 20-song double album has been expanded to 36 tracks, each one newly remixed and remastered. Live at the Greek found Page and Black Crowes teaming up for Led Zeppelin songs and Zeppelin-adjacent covers, but the reissue expands the track list to include Crowes cuts like “No Speak No Slave,” which was released Thursday as a preview for the 25th-anniversary edition:
“I’m really looking forward to the soon to be available release of Jimmy Page & The Black Crowes material from concerts in 1999,” Page said of the reissue in a statement. “The new mixes capture the collaboration of those historic encounters and provide the full explosive passion and exciting energy of those alchemical moments.”
Black Crowes’ Chris Robinson added, “The new Live at the Greek box set brings the whole experience of our work with Jimmy into a vibrant, electric, mystical and powerful perspective. Hail, hail rock ‘n roll!”
The Live at the Greek reissue also features a handful of soundcheck tracks, Crowes songs like “Remedy” and “She Talks to Angels,” and additional Zeppelin cuts like their rendition of the blues classic “Bring It on Home,” which was also released Thursday:
