Smashing Pumpkins announce massive 2025 London Gunnersbury Park show with Skunk Anansie and White Lies

The Smashing Pumpkins have announced details of a huge show at London’s Gunnersbury Park, as well as a trio of other UK shows. Find the details below.

The iconic alt-rock band will be making their way across the pond for a massive set at Gunnersbury Park in West London later this summer – taking to the stage on August 10.

Confirmed this morning (February 10), the set will see them joined by Skunk Anansie and White Lies as special guests.

As well as heading to London, frontman Billy Corgan and co. have also shared details of three more UK shows for later this summer. These include a stop in Halifax on August 12 as part of the Live At The Piece Hall series, and a stop in Scarborough the following night.

The string of dates wraps up in Colchester on August 14 – held as part of the Colchester Castle Summer Series for 2025. Tickets go on sale this Friday (February 14) at 10am GMT. Find a list of dates below and visit here to buy tickets.

The Smashing Pumpkins 2025 UK tour dates are:

AUGUST
10 – London, Gunnersbury Park
12 – Halifax, TK Maxx Presents Live At The Piece Hall
13 – Scarborough, TK Maxx Presents Open Air Theatre
14 – Colchester, Colchester Castle Summer Series

The Smashing Pumpkins’ latest release was ‘Aghori Mhori Mei‘, their 13th studio album and the follow-up to 2023’s ‘ATUM’. The band first announced details of the LP back in July last year, and confirmed that they would not be sharing any singles ahead of its release in the hopes that it would allow fans to enjoy the record as a whole.

“We played this game of Rock and Roll for 36 years,” the frontman said. “And… had to give the knee many times to what is the first song and what is the first statement and let other people judge us by one moment in time. We felt the right way to hear this record was an intact body of work.”

More recently, Corgan was announced as one of the names for the star-studded final-ever live show from Black Sabbath, which will take place in Birmingham on July 5.

According to comments Sharon Osbourne shared with NME, the singer is set to take to the stage alongside Tool drummer Danny Carey and Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello. They join a massive list of rock royalty playing on the night, including Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Lamb Of God, Mastodon, Alice In Chains, Halestorm, recent Grammy-winners Gojira and more.

As for other news about Corgan, it was recently confirmed that the frontman would be launching his own podcast called The Magnificent Others, which will see him interview the likes of KISS‘ Gene Simmons, Corey Feldman, Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi), Tom Morello, Pat Benatar and more.

Others performing at Gunnersbury Park over the summer include Martin Garrix – who will play his biggest UK headline show and first London headline performance in over half a decade on August 16 – and Khruangbin.

PAWSA have also been confirmed for Gunnersbury Park 2025, as have The Libertines, who will be joined by Supergrass, Soft Play, Hak Baker and Lambrini Girls.

The 2024 edition featured headline sets from PJ Harvey, Korn, Peggy Gou and Tom Grennan.
