Kelly Clarkson Will Return to Las Vegas for Summer Residency

Her new shows will take place at the Colosseum

Kelly Clarkson has a new home in Las Vegas. She’ll be taking up her Studio Sessions residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace this summer.

“We’re bringing the studio to the stage this time with ‘Studio Sessions,’” the singer and talk show host revealed in a statement. Her residency will kick off on Friday July 4th, with 18 performances that will run until November 15th.

Clarkson is no stranger to Vegas, having previously held a residency at PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. That show ran from 2023 to 2024. The singer has not gone on a proper tour since 2019, which was in support of her 2017 album Meaning of Life. Outside of Vegas, though, she has done one-off headlining shows in various cities.

Clarkson last released new music in 2023 with her tenth studio album Chemistry. Her PH Live residency was built around the album. Outside of music, Clarkson has been keeping busy with her daytime talk show The Kelly Clarkson Show. She is nearing 1,000 episodes of the show, having hosted it since 2019. The series has accumulated 22 Daytime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host and Outstanding Talk Show Host for Clarkson herself.

Even though she hasn’t released new music in a minute, Clarkson is often going viral for her “Kellyoke” segments on her show. She often does her own covers of popular songs on there by artists like Hozier, Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter. Those covers have become a signature of her show and now career, harking back to her American Idol-winning roots.
