In addition to executive producing the show, Megan will also perform her Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit “Savage” on the series. American Idol judge and pop icon Lionel Richie will also executive produce alongside Moira Ross, Miky Lee and Greg Foster, as well as Harry H.K. Shin and Jake Hong, with producer Ki-woong Kim for CJ ENM Co., Ltd. Chris Culvenor, Paul Franklin, Wes Dening and David Tibballs will executive produce for Eureka Productions (a Fremantle company), along with Bruce Eskowitz.

The show will be Apple’s latest entry into the music competition arena, following on the heels of the one-and-done 2023 series My Kind of Country, which was co-created by Reese Witherspoon and Kacey Musgraves and featured hosts Mickey Guyton, Jimmie Allen and Orville Peck . Last year, Apple aired the docuseries K-Pop Idols, a six-part show that followed the career paths of K-pop singers Blackswan, Jessi and Cravity.

While the release date for the show has not yet been announced, Meg will stay busy this weekend performing at the invite-only FanDuel/Spotify Super Bowl party on Friday (Feb. 7) alongside Blink-182 and DJ Pee . Wee (aka Anderson .Paak) before Kendrick Lamar takes the field for the halftime show during the big game on Sunday (Feb. 9).
