From the Golden Globes and now on the road to the Oscars, both Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande have grabbed some new awards season nominations. Selena Gomez has grabbed a BAFTA nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in ‘Emilia Pérez.’ While a number of US awards shows and announcements are postponed, the British Academy released their nominations and said their thoughts are “very, very much” with everyone impacted by the still raging wildfires. Ariana Grande also snagged her first BAFTA nomination for ‘Wicked.’ Emilia Pérez’ was also nominated for Best Picture while ‘Wicked’ was left out of that category.
