L.S. Dunes announce intimate 2025 UK shows

L.S. Dunes have announced the details of a pair of intimate 2025 UK shows which are set to take place early next year.

The supergroup – comprised of Thursday drummer Tucker Rule and bassist Tim Payne, Circa Survive vocalist Anthony Green, Coheed And Cambria guitarist Travis Stever and My Chemical Romance guitarist Frank Iero – are set to take over the Key Club in Leeds on January 30 and Cardiff’s Globe on February 10.

Tickets are set to go on general sale tomorrow (December 18) at 10am GMT. Visit here to purchase tickets.

Back in September, the band released their single ‘Fatal Deluxe’ which they said “marks the official opening of chapter two for L.S. Dunes.” The band are set to release their second album ‘Violet’ on January 31 via Fantasy Records.

The LP will serve as a follow-up to their 2022 debut ‘Past Lives’. Speaking to NME about the album, Iero shared that recording during a pandemic meant that “every step of the way, it felt like the universe was putting an obstacle in the way; but I love this band so much that nothing was going to stop us”.

Rule also explained that starting the band in the first place was something of a rebirth for the group. “We come from punk and hardcore [which has always been] against all the rules,” he shared.

He continued: “Thursday and My Chemical Romance stopped playing for a long time, so did Circa Survive. For a lot of us in this band, it’s a second chance,” with Iero adding: “It’s a rebirth, for all of us collectively.”

In other news, last year, L.S. Dunes were faced with controversy after they used AI in the music video for their track ‘Old Wounds’.

“L.S. Dunes and its collective members have been longtime supporters and advocates of artists of all kinds,” they shared in response via a statement.

“Love it or hate it, the choice is yours – as it should be,” it concluded. “We know we aren’t going to please everyone all the time.”
