GagaChella once again! On Wednesday, Coachella announced the stacked lineup for this year’s festival, which features Lady Gaga, Post Malone, Travis Scott, and Green Day as headliners for the April 11-13 and 25-27 festival.
Missy Elliott, Megan Thee Stallion, the Misfits, Charli XCX, Z, Junior H, JENNIE, FKA twigs, Ivan Cornejo, Anitta, Clairo, Enhypen, Keshi, Arca, and more stars are also performing.
On Tuesday, Rolling Stone confirmed that Malone would perform a “mind-blowing set” on the Sunday nights of the festival, with a source saying it will be a “perfect precursor to his stadium tour.”
Scott will return to the desert for the first time since 2017 after being booked for Coachella 2025, which was canceled due to COVID.
Malone hinted at his headlining slot at the festival when he included “Indio, CA,” where the festival is held, on his tour poster for the Big Ass Stadium Tour, his run for 2025. He’ll return to the desert this year after headlining Stagecoach last year with a set filled with guests and country music covers.
Gaga will return to the desert to headline Coachella after doing so in 2017, when she replaced Beyoncé, who postponed her performance due to her pregnancy. Although Green Day has never performed at Coachella, Billie Joe Armstrong joined the Replacements during a set in 2014.
Last year’s Coachella was headlined by Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator, and Doja Cat. It featured several iconic moments throughout the weekend, including Will Smith performing with J Balvin, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce catching Bleachers’ and Ice Spice’s sets, and No Doubt reuniting after decades. It also marked the genesis of Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter’s dominant year in music.
