Video shows Offset in Paris street brawl with French rap crew

New footage has shown Offset getting into a street brawl during his trip to Paris.

Footage obtained by TMZ showed the Migos rapper getting involved in a street fight by the  Hôtel du Collectionneur during a recent trip.

In the clip, the artist is seen getting out of an SUV, before a group of men approach him and his crew. Various people, including the rapper’s security, are seen trying to settle the tension, however it seems that the events spiralled when someone put their hands on Offset.

From there, the group began shouting and throwing punches, and Offset was heard in the background insisting that the security guards let him go. Soon after, he managed to move away from the security guard and kick a member of the group.

According to a recent report by Complex, the two groups were soon separated, with Offset and his crew paced inside the lobby of the hotel, while the others remained outside. Police reportedly arrived at the scene soon after, but no arrests were made.

The rapper has yet to comment publicly about the events that unfolded, however numerous outlets including TMZ, Stereogum and Complex have reported that the brawl may be related to Offset’s recent collaboration with French rapper Gazo. An insider told TMZ that the latter’s team had paid a reported fee of $150,000 (£118,700) for a video shoot, but were left unhappy by the finished product.

The fight reportedly took place after Offset refused to return the money, although this has not been confirmed.

Like Offset, Gazo has also not commented publicly on the video, but he did post a series of Instagram photos shortly before the fight, showing him hanging out with the rapper.

Recently, the two of them teamed up for Gazo’s track ‘Wembly’ – taken from his upcoming album ‘Apocalypse’.

In other Migos news, band member Quavo has been hinting at a new collaboration with country singer Luke Bryan. If it comes to fruition, it’ll follow on from his recent tracks with Lana Del Rey and Lenny Kravitz.
