SEVENTEEN to headline Mexico’s Tecate Pa’l Norte music festival in 2025

K-pop boyband SEVENTEEN have been announced as a headlining act for Tecate Pa’l Norte 2025 to be held in Mexico.

On October 25, the Tecate Pa’l Norte music festival announced its star-studded line-up for its 2025 rendition, featuring SEVENTEEN as a headlining act for the show and the only K-pop artists to be performing at the festival.

SEVENTEEN join Green Day, Massive Attack, The Chainsmokers and Gesaffelstein as one of five headliners for the festival’s opening day. Their appearance at the upcoming festival will also make them the first K-pop acts to do so in its history.

Tecate Pa’l Norte 2025 will run from April 4 to 6 at Parque Fundidora in Monterrey, Mexico. Ticket sales will begin from November 5 at 2pm local time via Ticketmaster.

Regarded as the largest music festival in Latin America, other headliners for Tecate Pa’l Norte 2025 include Justin Timberlake, Fall Out Boy, Olivia Rodrigo, Charli XCX and more. SEVENTEEN’s performance at Tecate Pa’l Norte will mark their third international festival performance so far, after they played at Glastonbury 2024 and Lollapalooza Berlin this year.

In the meantime, SEVENTEEN are currently touring North America as part of their ‘Right Here’ world tour. They have so far completed four shows in Rosemont, Illinois and Belmont Park, New York, with three US stops left before they embark on its Asian leg in January and February 2025.

They also recently released their 12th mini-album ‘Spill The Feels’ earlier this month, featuring title track ‘Love, Money, Fame’ featuring DJ Khaled. The band also put out a music video for B-side track ‘Eyes On You’ that pays homage to the 2014 sci-fi film I Origins.

On October 29, SEVENTEEN vocalist Seungkwan posted a lengthy message to his Instagram page voicing his support for fellow idols in the K-pop industry. “We have experienced enough pain, fallen apart, and somehow overcome it, putting in tenacious effort to show our best on stage for our fans,” he said of SEVENTEEN and their peers. “I hope people don’t take idols lightly.”
