The rock duo shared the song today (October 25), accompanied by a video co-directed by Corey Bost and Ali Gomez. It features footage of a new live performance from Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney interspersed with shots from classic horror films.
It marks the second release from the upcoming expanded version of their latest album, ‘Ohio Players‘, following ‘Mi Tormenta’, which featured DannyLux. The ‘Trophy Edition’ is set for release on November 15, and you can pre-order or pre-save here.
The expanded edition of their 12th studio album is a two-LP set in a gatefold jacket, and includes four additional tracks, an alternate cover, and new album sequencing.
There will also be an exclusive Amazon edition of the record pressed on purple vinyl, which will include the Amazon Music Original bonus track ‘Let Love Take Its Time’.
In a three-star review of ‘Ohio Players’, NME nodded to it’s litany of guest stars, from Beck to Noel Gallagher and Juicy J, and wrote: “Playing music with your pals isn’t a radical act – it’s what most musicians do and the bedrock of any scene in any city the world over – so given the fanfare the listener might reasonably expect ‘Ohio Players’ to hum along on the star-wattage of its guest list.
“Instead, this is a pretty good Black Keys record that chiefly serves to underline how wedded they are to the fundamentals of their own process.”
Carney spoke to NME last year and recalled their time working with the “incredible” Noel Gallagher in the studio. “He’s hilarious and super talented,” he said. “We were referring to him as ‘The Chord Lord’ because he’s just a perfectionist with it.”
‘Ohio Players (Trophy Edition)’ tracklist is:
1. ‘This Is Nowhere’
2. ‘Don’t Let Me Go’
3. ‘Beautiful People’ (Stay High)
4. ‘On The Game’

Elsewhere, The Black Keys announced earlier this year they have signed to new management following a public split from their former team.
In June, the band took to social media to claim they were “fucked” after their North American tour was cancelled and they split from their management on June 7. They were due to play their ‘International Players Tour’ in the US and Canada from September to November this year, but it was reported late last month that the entire run of gigs had been abruptly scrapped, with no explanation provided.
Amidst speculation the cancellation was due to low ticket sales, the band opened up about the tour, saying it was axed and re-planned in favour of smaller theatre venues as featured on their recent European dates.
