Billie Eilish Shows Massive Bruise After Falling Down Stairs at NYC Concert

Billie Eilish is recovering after hitting her leg hard and not quite soft.

The multi-Grammy winner took to her Instagram Stories to show off a nasty leg bruise she retained after tripping and falling on steps as she left the stage during her show at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Friday (Oct. 18).

On Tuesday (Oct. 22), Eilish re-shared a video of the fall captioned “billie falling down the stairs at msg.” She followed it up with a photo of the large purple bruise on her thigh. “But literally,” she wrote over the snap.

The 22-year-old kicked off her world tour on Sept. 29 in Quebec, Canada, and is planning to go across North America, Europe and Australia, with the final show taking place July 27, 2025, in Ireland. In addition to being able to hear Eilish’s No. 1 Pop Airplay song “Birds of a Feather,” the artist is taking fans through her new album with some surprises sure to pop up along the way. The Billboard Hot 100 hitmaker is also teaming up with Google Maps to help you find the most sustainable route to the concert venue in an effort to be more eco-friendly.

Following her show at MSG, Eilish appeared for the fourth time as musical guest on Saturday Night Live, performing Hit Me Hard and Soft album tracks “Birds of a Feather” and “Wildflower” alongside her brother Finneas.
