Jeff Lynne’s ELO announces farewell show at London’s BST Hyde Park 2025

Jeff Lynne’s ELO have announced a farewell show at BST Hyde Park 2025 in London – you can find all the details below.

The band’s headline set at Hyde Park back in 2014 marked their first festival performance in 30 years. Now, they are set to return to play the Great Oak Stage on Sunday July 13.

It’ll follow ELO’s current ‘Over And Out’ tour in the US, serving as a final “goodbye” to their fans.

“My return to touring began at Hyde Park in 2014,” explained Lynne. “It seems like the perfect place to do our final show. We couldn’t be more excited to share this special night in London with our UK fans. As the song goes, ‘We’re gonna do it One More Time!’”

Jim King, CEO of European Festivals at AEG Presents, said: Jeff Lynne’s ELO are loved the world over. The live shows are nothing short of extraordinary and a testament to the incredible catalogue of hits we’ve enjoyed for over 50 years.

“Hosting their final performance at BST Hyde Park is a true honour. We’re excited to be part of this special moment in music history.”

The group will be joined by a host of special guests at their “historic final show”, with further acts to be confirmed in the coming months.

Tickets go on general sale at 9am BST this Friday (October 25) – you’ll be able to buy yours here. Alternatively, Amex customers can access a pre-sale from 10am BST today (21) until 10am BST on Wednesday (23).

This marks the first headliner announcement for BST Hyde Park 2025. Organisers have promised “more incredible announcements soon”.

BST Hyde Park 2024 boasted the headliners Stevie Nicks, Kylie Minogue, Stray Kids, SZA, Kings Of Leon, Morgan Wallen, Andrea Bocelli, Robbie Williams and Shania Twain.
Lynne was inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame last year and ELO were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 2017.

Earlier this year, longtime ELO keyboardist Richard Tandy died at the age of 76.
