BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars spark collaboration rumours with Instagram posts

BLACKPINK singer Rosé and Bruno Mars have posted several Instagram posts from a night out together, potentially hinting at an upcoming collaboration.

Yesterday (October 16), BLACKPINK’s Rosé posted a polaroid photo of her sitting next to Bruno Mars, captioning it with: “the night i taught bruno how to play a korean drinking game”.

Mars soon responded to the post, commenting: “So much fun! Remember when you tried to kiss me? that was weird. Other than that sick pic!”

Hours later, Mars shared a black-and-white photo from the same night, writing that he was “hanging on for dear life” after the K-pop star taught him how to play a Korean drinking game, which got him “saucy”.

“Soon after, she tried to kiss me, and I was like ‘woah Rosie! what part of the game is this?’ She was like, ‘I ain’t playin games wit you anymore lil boy! Big Rosie bout that BIDNESS!’,” he teased in the caption. “Shaken, I replied ‘stop Rosie, I’m scared!’ But other than that, super chill night.”

While the pair have yet to officially announce a release together, their posts have sparked rumours of an upcoming collaboration. Notably, Rosé recently inked a deal with Atlantic Records – which houses Mars, along with artists like Ed Sheeran and Charli XCX – for her upcoming solo releases.

Earlier this month, the Korean-Australian singer announced that she will be releasing her debut solo studio album ‘rosie’ on December 6. “I have poured my blood and tears into this album. I cannot wait for you to listen to this little journal of mine,” she wrote.

The singer also launched a new “finsta” account @vampirehollie, where she and her team will share updates on her upcoming solo music. In the past week, it started to share images highlighting the number one, leading fans to speculate that the singer is gearing up to release something on November 1.

In related news, BLACKPINK’s Jennie made a comeback with her solo single ‘Mantra’ last week. The song marked her first release in over a year, following 2023’s ‘You & Me’.
