Madonna, Caroline Polachek, SOPHIE and Grimes to reportedly feature on Charli XCX’s ‘Brat And It’s Completely Different But Also Still Brat’

An alleged full list of features for Charli XCX’s upcoming ‘Brat‘ remix album is circulating online, and it seems Madonna, Caroline Polachek, SOPHIE and Grimes are among those set to appear.

Last week, Charli announced a reimagined version of her latest album-turned-cultural-phenomenon ‘Brat’, titled ‘‘Brat and it’s completely different but also still brat’. The new version appears to be a remix album and will be released October 11.

There’s already been a string of remixes shared from the record. ‘Von Dutch’ has been remade with Addison Rae, ‘Girl, So Confusing’ with Lorde, ‘360’ with Robyn and Yung Lean, ‘Guess’ with Billie Eilish, and ‘Talk Talk’ with Troye Sivan. As well as Sivan, it also features contributions from Dua Lipa, with the ‘Training Season’ singer speaking Spanish and French on the track.

Now, fans are sharing a list that seems to reveal the remaining featured artists, though it has not been confirmed as legitimate by Charli.

The list alleges that Madonna will appear on a new version of ‘Club Classics’, while Caroline Polachek will feature on ‘Apple’ and Grimes will remix ‘B2b’, The Line of Best Fit have reported.

However, some fans are questioning the list’s legitimacy as it claims the album will include a SOPHIE remix of ‘So i’. The hyperpop pioneer and PC Music affiliate (full name Sophie Xeon) tragically passed away on January 30, 2021 aged 34 following her accidental fall from a three-storey building in Athens. The song was written in memory of the late artist and references her 2017 track ‘It’s Okay To Cry’.

Elsewhere, Kesha will apparently feature on ‘Sympathy is a knife’, PinkPantheress on ‘I might say something stupid’, Rosalía on ‘Everything is romantic’ and Shygirl, who is currently touring with Charli and Sivan, on ‘365’. It also alleges that George Daniel, Charli’s fiance and The 1975‘s drummer, will remix ‘Mean girls’ for the album.

The features have not been confirmed by Charli. Find the current tracklist below and pre-save it here.

In a four-star review of ‘Brat’, NME wrote earlier this year: “On the self-described “club record”, XCX offers pure party girl hedonism. Percolating beats, brash synths, left-field production and vocal lines that flit between bratty quips or honest one-liners.”

“With ‘Brat’, XCX demonstrates that going her own way will always sound pretty good,” it added.
