Duster have released a surprise new album ‘In Dreams’, and announced a North American tour set to commence this autumn.
‘In Dreams’ is the Californian indie rock band’s their fifth record — marking their third since reuniting in 2018 after an 18-year hiatus and second since the departure of drummer Jason Albertini. Clay Parton and Canaan Dove Amber are the remaining members.
The shoegaze pioneers returned in 2019 with a self-titled EP, which was followed by ‘Together’ in 2022. Prior to that, they released ‘Contemporary Movement’ in 2000 and ‘Stratosphere’, their influential debut album in 1998.
In recent years they’ve seen immense streaming success thanks to ‘Inside Out’ from ‘Stratosphere’ becoming a viral TikTok hit.

Alongside the album, Duster also announced a North American tour, set to commence in autumn. They’ll kick off the shows on September 27 in Atlanta, before heading to Washington, New York City and Chicago. They’ll then wrap up with three shows in their home state of California on November 21, 22 and 23.
