Yesterday (August 27) it was revealed that Liam and Noel Gallagher had finally buried the hatchet and will embark on a huge comeback tour with Oasis next summer, dubbed ‘OASIS LIVE 25’.

Snail Mail – real name Lindsey Jordan – is an avid fan of the Manchester band, sharing an image of her trying to access the tour’s pre-sale ballot on her Instagram story earlier today.

So, aptly, she used her set at Central Park’s SummerStage festival last night (August 27) to pay homage to them via a grungey cover of ‘Supersonic’ from their seminal debut album ‘Definitely Maybe’ – which turns 30 this year.

After wrapping up the tune, she growled “Welcome back Oasis” into the mic. Check it out below:

The upcoming run of Oasis gigs currently consists of multiple dates at Manchester’s Heaton Park, London’s Wembley Stadium, Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Dublin’s Croke Park, and Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium. Though there are rumours. that further, international dates will be added.

Tickets go on general sale at 9am BST this Saturday (August 31) – you’ll be able to buy yours here (UK), and here (Ireland). Fans can also sign up for a ballot to access a pre-sale on Friday (30) before 7pm BST today (28).

Elsewhere, Ticketmaster has shared the strict rules for those hoping to score tickets to the upcoming reunion tour.

News of the highly-anticipated tour – reportedly set to make a colossal £400million – comes ahead of the band releasing a 30th-anniversary reissue of their seminal 1994 debut album ‘Definitely Maybe’ on Friday (August 30).

It’s not the first cover we’ve heard from Snail Mail this year. Earlier this month she shared a euphoric version of The Smashing Pumpkins’ ‘Tonight, Tonight’, and in February, for the fourth night of her Valentine Fest residency in Baltimore, the singer linked up with Mac DeMarco to cover Talking Heads’ 1983 classic ‘This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody)’.

She also joined Waxahatchee for a cover of The Killers‘ ‘When You Were Young’ and Soccer Mommy for a rendition of Avril Lavigne‘s ‘I’m With You’ during a concert in Baltimore, as well as giving Muse‘s ‘Starlight’ a go during her 2022 US headline tour.

In September last year, Snail Mail and DeMarco also shared a new song called ‘A Cuckhold’s Refrain’, attributed to a project called Peppermint Patty.
