Kevin Hart Quotes Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’ in Kai Cenat-Hosted Freestyle

We guess this is his pop-out

Call him Kevin Hart aka Chocolate Droppa aka DRC. The comedian-turned-rap star made a surprise appearance at the end of the Kai Cenat-hosted freestyle rap video, which starred Kai’s creator friends.

The video — which featured Fanum, Duke, Agent, and Davis — panned to Hart walking dramatically toward the rap crew, grabbing the mic, and automatically going for the Lamar reference. “Sometimes you gotta pop out and show n—-s. I guess this is my pop-out,” he started, referencing the “Not Like Us” line. “Let’s get it!”

“All this talk about the Big 3, fuck that, them not me/ Goddamn, I’m mad/ Oh shit, you sad/ Well, it’s time to get glad, ’cause I’m back and I’m really mad,” Hart raps. “Put my feet on the ground/What you gonna do but hear the sound.”

In his rap, Hart snuck in some silly one-liners before going off in foreign-language-sounding jibberish, before rapping: “That’s different languages, bitch. I got it all, it’s in my bag.”

Hart was a recent guest on a Cenat livestream, and is having a busy summer as he co-hosts Olympic Highlights with Kenan Thompson and The Other Games on Peacock. He also stars in Borderlands with Ariana Greenblatt, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Jack Black, which drops Aug. 9. He’ll head on the road for his stand-up tour later in August.

As for “Not Like Us,” the Drake diss track has become a global hit, reaching the Billboard Hot 100 at Number One. Lamar released the video for the DJ Mustard-produced track earlier this month.
