Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Post Malone and Sabrina Carpenter among the winners at the annual slimefest
Jelly Roll was among the presenters at the 2024 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards Saturday, and as per tradition, the country star got slimed.
Accompanied by Heidi Klum to present the award for Favorite Actor, the singer stood under a precariously positioned giant plastic straw situated in overflowing cup of the green stuff. Before Jelly Roll could even reveal the nominees, however, the inevitable happened:
“I took those [losses] privately so God could heal my inner child publicly,” Jelly Roll wrote on Instagram after his sliming. “Honored.”

Jelly Roll was a little less lucky during the actual Kids’ Choice Awards as he lost Favorite Breakout Artist to Renee Rapp. Taylor Swift was the big winner on the music front, winning a trio of awards — Favorite Female Artist, Ticket of the Year for the Eras Tour, and Favorite Global Music Star — while Olivia Rodrigo scored trophies for both her music (Favorite Album for Guts) and her acting (Favorite Female TV star for High School Musical: The Series).
Other winners included Post Malone (Favorite Male Artist), Imagine Dragons (Favorite Music Group), Billie Eilish (Favorite Song for “What Was I Made For?”) and Sabrina Carpenter (Favorite Viral Song for “Espresso”). Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce even score an award, taking home Favorite Male Sports Star.
