Machine Gun Kelly, Yungblud Revisit ‘I Think I’m Okay’ With a ‘Sad Version’ Five Years Later

MGK also released a deluxe edition of 2019’s Hotel Diablo, featuring a demo, a live song, and a new track titled “Pistolero”

MGK is returning to his Hotel Diablo era five years later. On Friday, the musician released a deluxe edition of the acclaimed LP, adding “sad versions” of fan-favorite songs “I Think I’m Okay” and “Glass House,” plus a new track, “El Pistolero.”

To accompany the album revisit, MGK also released a video for the reimagined “I Think I’m Okay” alongside Yungblud. (The original track also featured Travis Barker.) The video captures behind-the-scene footage of the pair of musicians backstage at a show, celebrating the track reaching platinum status, and at a photoshoot from that time. MGK also sings the new version while lying on grass.

“A love letter to you from us ‘i think im okay’ (sad version) video out now,” MGK wrote on Instagram. “Can you believe it’s been 5 years already??”

MGK also put out the deluxe Floor 13 Edition version of Hotel Diablo, which includes the new song “El Pistolero” and hears him singing in Spanglish, the Young Thug and Lil Duke-featuring “Bullets With Names,” sad versions of “I Think I’m Okay” and “Glass House,” and a demo of “5:3666.” He also added a live performance of the song “Floor 13.”

Mgk originally released Hotel Diablo — featuring songs such as “El Diablo,” “Candy” with Trippie Redd, and “Glass House” — on July 5, 2019. He accompanied the project with a U.S. tour and a graphic novel of the same name two years later.
